Say no to circumcision - support intactivism. The following list includes blogs, articles, and websites of interest to Intactivists that were published in the past week. This is a running tally of the ones I found interesting.

Honorable Mention

Ball State Daily News: OBJECTIONABLE MATERIAL: Foreskin: the controversey
Although this article is several months old, I just discovered it. The article is well written. It discusses the culture that has developed around circumcision and how it perpetuates itself.

The Oracle Online: CDC should not recommend infant male circumcision
"By definition, circumcision of either sex is tantamount to mutilation because it involves permanent removal of body parts.  While people have a right to their own religious customs, every individual also has a right to his or her own body. An unbiased medical institution should not recommend neonatal male circumcision to American parents."

Essence.com: Circumcision: To Snip Or Not To Snip?
An article about infant circumcision that quotes mothers and why they left their son intact or had him circumcised. Not a well researched article, but does provide a somewhat balanced point of view.

Random Rim Jobs: Uncut
NSFW: One woman describes how she changed her views after experiencing intact (uncircumcised) men. She loves uncut cock. She goes on to debunk the common myths supporting infant circumcision.

No Chubby Hubby: Is circumcision beneficial to mens health?
The author asks for comments on Wikipedia's Circumcision entry, which has a pro-circumcision point of view. The comments are often more informative than Wikipedia.

Youtube: Massachusetts MGM Bill Public Hearing
An edited video of the testimony at the Massachusetts hearing of the Genital Integrity Bill. The video appeared to have been taken with a cell phone camera, and it shows the passion of the Bill supporters.

Adrian's Blog: The Trouble with Technology: Africa, the Machine Gun and Clinical Trials
An interesting discussion of unintended consequences for the circumcision trials conducted in Africa. I disagree that the consequences of circumcising the world is unintended for the pro-circumcision advocates.

Last Blog on Earth: San Diegans anti-circumcision bill gets a hearing in Massachusetts
David Maass writes about the recent hearing of the Massachusetts Genital Integrity Bill hearing.

MGMBill.org: Massachusetts MGM Bill Public Hearing
The Joint Committee on the Judiciary voted to reject the Massachusetts MGM Bill (S. 1777). The vote took place during a meeting held at 1:00 pm this afternoon 3/16/2010 in room 222 of the State House. This was a valiant effort. It was also very successful in raising public awareness.

Noodlemaz: Why should I care? A GM that I DO oppose.
A very thorough discussion of genital mutilation, both female and male genital cutting. Many of the common circumcision myths are debunked. An extensive timeline of circumcision, starting in 1832 through the 2007 Sorrells study.

The Man-Nurse Diaries: Circumcision: A Male's Perspective
