Happy 9th Birthday, RestoringForeskin.org!

by Tally on March 20, 2018

RestoringForeskin.org is 9 years old today.

Yep, March 20, 2009, was the day that RestoringForeskin.org came online. Another, similar website announced it was shutting down. Rather than lose a valuable resource and a place for men to get together, I decided to build this site. And here we are.  Read more . . .

9 year foreskin restoration progress report

by Tally on August 10, 2017

9 years of foreskin restoration9 years. That is a long time. But the years seem to go by so quickly.

Nine years ago I started restoring my foreskin. My preferred restoring method has been manual method 2. I have used other methods and devices, but manual method 2 best fits my lifestyle.

I consider myself partially restored. I have had full flaccid coverage for a couple years. I do not yet have full erect coverage. I still tug, but not with the fervor I used to have when I started. I currently tug every day in the shower for a minute or two.

I am still enjoying the many benefits of foreskin restoration. Read more . . .

Happy 7th Birthday, RestoringForeskin.org!

by Tally on March 21, 2016

Birthday card saying: Happy seventh birthday, Restoring Foreskin.orgI really need to update RestoringTally.com more often. I cannot believe it has been a year since I last posted here. *sigh*

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RESTORING FORESKIN.org!! I started the foreskin restoration site seven years ago. Time flies.

There are not many places on the Internet for men. I get a warm fuzzy feeling deep inside knowing that RestoringForeskin.org is one place for men to get help about an issue that affects so many. My hope is that this site stays on-line for a long time.

Happy 6th Birthday, RestoringForeskin.org!

by Tally on March 20, 2015

Happy 6th Birthday Restoring Foreskin websiteI don't like celebrating my birthday. Never have. I do not like to admit that I am getting older. But I am glad that I am still around.

But the website I founded, RestoringForeskin.org, is special. I don't mind celebrating its birthday. Every year that the site remains up and active means more men who are able to regain some of what they lost when they were circumcised.

I plan on keeping RestoringForeskin.org around for a long time. I have improvements and enhancements that I want to make to the site. Unfortunately, there are only so many hours in a day. I want to move the site to a new, faster server. I also want to make the site more responsive and available to everyone.

More than 2 million people have visited the public side of RestoringForeskin.org in the past 6 years. There have been more than 4 million page views in that time. I am amazed at the number of people who are learning about foreskin restoration. I ardently hope that that the incidence of male infant circumcision is decreasing as more learn about foreskin restoration. Read more . . .

My first Intactivist protest

by Tally on November 2, 2014

The first group shot of intactivists protesting against male infant circumcisionIntact Knoxville and Bloodstained Men hosted an intactivist event against circumcision yesterday in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am happy to say that I participated.

The weather was cold. Two days before the event we were enjoying 70 degree, sunny days. Saturday it was in the low 30s. Fortunately the rain and snow predicted for the area did not hit downtown, where the event was held. Still, the cold weather kept many people away from where we were gathered. Read more . . .

6 year foreskin restoration progress report

by Tally-admin on August 10, 2014

6 years of restoring my foreskinI have been restoring my foreskin for 6 years. In that time I have seen my restored foreskin get longer and longer, and then shorter and shorter as I lost weight. Fortunately, I am seeing my foreskin getting longer and longer again.

It does not bother me that I am still tugging my foreskin 6 years after I started. I still believe in the many benefits of foreskin restoration.

But one question that I anticipate is Why am I still restoring after 6 years?

When I started restoring my foreskin I thought that I would be done in 2 years. As it turned out, I was not far from my estimate. After two years of tugging I had full flaccid coverage almost all the time. I was experiencing more sensitivity in my penis than I remember ever having before. And I no longer was irritated by my shorts rubbing against what sensitive bits I had on my penis. Read more . . .

SPAMMERS go away!

by Tally on April 20, 2014

No SPAM!I hate SPAM.

I hate it when spammers SPAM.

Two days ago the web hosting service for RestoringTally restricted access to the site because the site was overloading the server.

After a bit of investigating I determined that I was getting so much SPAM in a short period that the server processing was more than my shared hosting account could handle. So they shut me down.

The spammers were leaving several comments per minute. Generally I get between 2000 and 4000 SPAM comments each day. Some days are worse than others. And some times are worse than other times. Each comment goes through my SPAM filters and also goes through Mollom, a SPAM filtering service I use to keep SPAM off the site. It work very well. There are days where 1 or 2 SPAM comments may get through and are published. I manually delete them. Read more . . .

Happy 5th Birthday, RestoringForeskin.org!

by Tally on March 20, 2014

Happy fifth birthday, Restoring Foreskin.orgFive years. They have gone by quickly.

It was five years ago that the foreskin restoration website RestoringForeskin.org came on-line. Two weeks before the site's birth the predecessor site RestoreForeskin.org announced that it was shutting down. There was nothing to do but to start a new site. So I did.

It has been a turbulent and enjoyable ride. I and QBMan put in an incredible number of hours those first months to get the website built and running. Not to mention fix all the problems. I still put in a lot of hours maintaining and managing the site. But I also get to meet a lot of great men who are striving to better themselves.

The public face of RestoringForeskin.org has been seen by more than 1.6 million people. There have been more than 3.3 million page views in that time. I am amazed at the number of people who are learning about foreskin restoration. I ardently hope that that the incidence of male infant circumcision is decreasing as more learn about foreskin restoration. Read more . . .

Circumcision and The Infection Myth

by Naida on November 12, 2013

We've all heard this line before- "A circumcised boy won't get infections."

I come to you this morning to discuss the aura of medical authority being used as a smoke screen by supporters of Routine Infant Circumcision. Undoubtedly, we've heard many a reason why circumcision is beneficial. "It's more esthetically pleasing." Parents can usually shrug off an excuse like this if they're unsure about circumcising their son. "It's more hygienic." At this point, some parents may be irked into considering it, but others may still be on the fence because they can teach hygiene. "It prevents infections." Boom. To any parent who hasn't done the proper research, this false promise of better health will win them to the side of circumcision.

I am here to dispel what is probably the most prevalent medical lie. Read more . . .
