The Man in China: My Petition is Back On Line. Please Sign It
The author has posted a petition to Reduce medical participation in Infant Male Circumcision. He rightly points out that there is no medical justification for the unnecessary infant circumcision procedure. He notes that in China, which has a low rate of circumcision, the intact boys and men are healthy and enjoy their foreskins without any significant medical problems.

Reuters: In Israel, some rebel against circumcision
A report about how a growing number of Jews in Israel are opting to not circumcise their sons. These parents recognize the harm of infant circumcision and choose to leave their sons intact and whole. The article also describes the growing number of Jews in the US who are opting not to circumcise their infant sons.

The Good Atheist: Baby boy dies after botched circumcision
In the UK, the immigrant parents of a 4 week old boy hired a nurse to circumcise their son. The nurse, armed with a pair of scissors and olive oil, proceeded to circumcise the boy. The boy began bleeding and died shortly afterward. What drives parents to have parts of their children cut off?

Saving our Sons: From Indifference to Activism: An Advocate's Journey
A mother writes about learning about circumcision. Her first child was a girl. While pregnant with her second, she researched routine infant circumcision. She quickly learned the male infant circumcision was unnecessary. It did not take much research to come to that conclusion. He second was a girl, also. During her third pregnancy she learned she was going to have a boy. At first, her husband was not on board with leaving his son intact. In her efforts to convince him, she researched infant circumcision more. And the more she learned, the more horrified she became at the routine practice.

Experience Project: Circumcision In TV And Movies
An actor describes the difficulties he would have if he were called upon to act as a pro-circumcision character. He says that he would have trouble identifying with such a character. He thinks it would be easier to portray a murderer than a circumciser. It is amazing the impact circumcision has on its victims.

Essential Kids: The facts on Foreskin
A parenting article about what it means for a baby boy to keep his foreskin, that is, avoiding the circumcision decision by leaving their son intact and whole. Having a foreskin is natural. Caring for an infant circumcision is simple: wipe the outside like a finger and NEVER retract. For a boy who has a retractable foreskin, he needs to learn to retract and rinse with water and to never use soap under the foreskin. Soap will dry out and irritate the sensitive mucous membrane under the foreskin.

Barrel of Oranges: A year of intactivism
A blogger writes about how a year ago she became an intactivist, fighting for genital integrity for children and, in particular, against male infant circumcision. The turning point was watching a video of a baby circumcision. Not only was the baby traumatized by his surgery. Watching a video of a baby circumcision is enough to make anyone cringe.

Salem-News: THE CON: Medicine's Obsessional Approach to Circumcision
The efforts made in advocating male infant circumcision can be considered obsessive. There is no overwhelming evidence in support of male infant circumcision. To the contrary, there is much evidence of the harm of circumcision. But many devote their lives to advocating the genital cutting of baby boys. The author finds the parallels between a con game and those seeking to circumcise infants.

Spiked: Circumcision: the first cut is the deepest
In spite of the corny title, this article takes a look at the harm of male infant circumcision. Genital cutting, whether of a boy or a girl, is a degrading and brutally unfair practice that is harmful and an assault on the body of the child.

Guggie Daly: Real Feminists Protect Sons from Circumcision
An admonishment to mothers to protect their sons from circumcision. When it comes to circumcision, the answer is simple. Cutting off a baby's foreskin is harmful. Mothers should protect their sons against everyone, including the doctors and the boy's father, if need be.

South Coast Today: Guest View: Be informed about circumcision before making decision about newborn
An article by a local director of The Intact Network, which is an organization that strives to educate the public about the harms of male infant circumcision. The article dispels myths about foreskin. The author explains why circumcision is unnecessary and harmful for infants.
