Dr. Momma peaceful parenting: Finland Parents and Circumciser Charged with Assault and Battery and Fined for Sons' Circumcision
HELSINGIN SANOMAT: Circumcision assault case brings fine – conviction but no punishment for parents

My Foreskin Restoration Experience: Happy New Year!
A brief update by a man restoring his foreskin. He is using the DTR and is happy with the results so far.

Circumcision Insanity: "Mya" from Florida
A blog discussing posts from Facebook where parents talk about their son's circumcision. This post has the mother calling her baby boy a "trooper." He is a baby, just days old. Why is he a trooper? Because his parents decided to have the most sensitive part of his body cut off and he survived?

Circoncisione Infantile Maschile: Jewish Voices: The Current Judaic Movement to End Circumcision
A collection of quotes by Jewish scholars, historians, activists, and parents. Their collective voice says that male infant circumcision is a practice that has no place in the modern world.

Women's Health Planet: Child Circumcision: An Elephant in the Hospital
Ryan McAllister, PhD, is a parent, a biophysicist, an Assistant Professor of Physics and Oncology at Georgetown University, and also a volunteer who supports parents and families. The post includes a video of his class presentation about genital cutting of boys and girls. A very informative video laying out the facts about circumcision.

Awesatious: What’s your reason for supporting infant circumcision?
Eight common reasons people use to justify cutting the sex organ of baby boys, otherwise known as male infant circumcision. None of the listed reasons stand up to critical thinking. Sadly, most people who allow part of their baby boy's healthy body to be cut off rarely think about it.

A Voice for Men: 28,000,000 African men to be coerced by U.N. to make “the cut”
An expose on the male circumcision campaign being conducted in Africa. The three trials relied upon by the pro-circumcision crowd are examined critically and they do not stand up. The author makes a good point that the money spent on circumcising men could be better spend for food and clean water.

infocirc: The Cut Podcast: Circumcision and HIV: A Conversation with David Wilton
Eliyahu Ungar‑Sargon, filmmaker of the documentary CUT, interviews David Wilton about the nature of the push to circumcise Africa, how this has affected the controversy over circumcising completely healthy infants, and in what ways the Intactivist Movement needs to evolve its organization.

Awesatious: Bullying, suicide and circumcision
Another reason someone had for letting their son be circumcised: they wanted to protect him from being ridiculed for having a foreskin. Really? That is a lame reason, particularly since many, if not most, of his classmates are likely to be intact. It is just another example of the lack of critical thinking.

JWeekly.com: Brit shalom is catching on, for parents who don’t want to circumcise their child
A Jewish naming ceremony called brit shalom, Hebrew for “covenant of peace,” is replacing Brit Milah, or the circumcision rite. Brit shalom is frequently promoted by opponents of circumcision as a way to welcome baby boys into the Jewish covenant without a brit milah, also known as a bris.

The Star.com: Religion, hygiene and better sex are just a few reasons adult men are getting circumcised
Few adult men get circumcised. A Canadian clinic does about 5 adult male circumcisions a month. The medical director discourages men from getting cut if they think it will increase their sexual satisfaction because circumcision often reduces sexual satisfaction.

Awesatious: Abortion and circumcision are not the same thing, folks!
Yet another lame excuse for cutting off part of a baby boy's sex organ: "I am pro-life." Huh? I have encountered this excuse also. How can a person be for life and also for cutting off healthy tissue after that boy is born? Do the rights of the human stop after being born?

A Voice for Men: An open letter to Bill and Melinda Gates
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is helping fund the male circumcision campaign in Africa. The circumcision campaign is based on faulty studies that do not fit real-world observations. Fraud also runs rampant, from American scientists promoting circumcision and their studies to circumcision device makers who are using bribery and other means to push their products.

Life as a Reader: Myth and Fact: Psychology Today 5 Part Series on MGM (Infant Circumcision)
Psychology Today recently ran a five-part series on male infant circumcision. Life as a Reader provides links and an outline for each article. The series is a great collection that is very informative.

MNI Alive.com: Why The Caribbean Must Reject Circumcision As A Method For HIV Prevention
A plea for the Caribbean population to be aware of the facts to reject the use of circumcision as a tactic in the prevention of the HIV/AIDS virus. The article correctly describes the anatomy and function of the foreskin as being necessary for full sexual satisfaction and pleasure. The author then critiques the three trials that advocate male circumcision.
