Foreskin restoration motivation

by Tally on May 7, 2012 Bookmark and Share

The number one reason why people give up so fast is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have gotten.Foreskin restoration takes time and patience. Knowing how much I have grown and recognizing the benefits from restoring motivates me to keep on tugging.

Fortunately, progress is often easily seen. Before I started restoring my foreskin, I had tight erections. Within a week of starting manual tugging, I noticed my skin was more flexible and it was much more mobile. Before restoring I never knew that my shaft skin could move back and forth when I was flaccid.

After a month of restoring I noticed that my shaft skin had lots of wrinkles. Then I noticed that my shaft skin was starting to bunch up behind my corona. The inner foreskin remnant that was inside the folds of skin next to my corona became more sensitive because the tissue was protected from rubbing against my shorts.

At around the four month mark I started masturbating differently. I could not pull my new skin over my glans when erect, but my shaft skin was much more mobile when I was erect. I could move it back and forth, causing it to bump against my corona. That felt good, really good. Eventually my skin grew enough where it would start to roll over my corona when masturbating. That is when I stopped using lube to jerk off.

A few months later I started to get whole body orgasms. I would reach a point where I would feel a flush moving through my body. Then I would get a tingly feeling in my scalp. Instead of just ejaculating like I did before as a circumcised man, my whole body felt the pleasure as I kept stroking my penis with my newly grown skin.

My foreskin restoration milestones are not just limited to my penis. I feel more comfortable in my body. I remember that first time I was walking along and thought to myself, "I feel comfortable down there. I don't feel any irritation from rubbing." Emotionally, I feel more at ease with myself.

As each of these changes occurred, I was freshly motivated to continue tugging to restore my foreskin.

My motivation to continue restoring my foreskin was recognizing the changes in my body and how I was responding to my growing foreskin. Unfortunately, I have encountered many who consider restoring their foreskin to be a daunting task. One that takes years.

In a way, they are correct. Foreskin restoration takes years, longer if you were cut tightly. Maybe a little less time for those with a loose circumcision. Regardless, it takes time. But that is no reason not to start tugging. After all, in three years we all will be three years older. Those of who tugged during those three years will have more of a restored foreskin than those who do not tug. Those who have not tugged will have just what they have now, a circumcised penis.

I recently came across this graphic on Facebook. This graphic reinforced my philosophy.

The number one reason why people give up so fast is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have gotten.

For me, the secret to staying motivated is to recognize how tugging has benefited me. I stay motivated because I know foreskin restoration works. I want the benefits to continue.

#1 My most sincere thank you

Hello.

I'm a 33-year old Finn, who was circumcised 10 days ago due to medical reasons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lichen_sclerosus). Even after receiving "trust me, it'll be fine"-consolations after the operation from my friends, who also have been circumcised as adults for medical reasons and say their sexual experience has not changed significantly, I have been absolutely devastated. Even though being a stolid Finn, I can't remember when I have cried this much and hard for such extented periods.

Even before the aforementioned medical condition, my foreskin was somewhat tight and my glans was always fully covered even while fully erect, but it didn't negatively impact masturbation or sex; on the contrary, the sensation was spectacular: no lube needed, tremorous orgasms. I had some trouble with my aim while urinating, but I was able to properly clean my penis, so all-in-all I had no severe problems with "handling my junk".

I'm a very fast healer, so at this point I've already gotten rid of the sutures, albeit soluble (the operation wound had healed and I didn't want scarring tunnels) and today had my first post-circumcision sexual experience with my girlfriend. It was underwhelming beyond words. I know that it will probably get a whole lot better, and I shouldn't jump to conclusions at this point, but I'm not willing to take any chances, not with something as important as this. Especially when the keratinization of the glans is happening at a rate which is downright frightening.

Luckily, I've known about foreskin restoration for many years, thanks to seeing the "Penn & Teller - Bullshit!"-show about it. Funny how such random things can turn out to be so important later on. So I started searching information about the process quite immediately after the operation, because I had a strong feeling that being circumcised would dramatically lessen my quality of life.

And so I found my way here. This site has been a real lifesaver, I am now fully confident that I can achieve real, concete results with just manual methods and in a reasonable timeframe. I was in the illusion, that foreskin restoration would require unwieldy and cumbersome apparatuses, that would cause me constant headaches in my work in industrial manufacturing and on-site installation. Some slight swelling still exists, so it's hard to say definitely, but my academic guess would be that I'm somewhere in the CI-3 zone at this point. I'm aiming for complete flaccid coverage, and plan to use manual tugging (method 2 seemed very practical) with the Manhood retainer.

So, thank you for this site, thank you for all the detailed, useful information, THANK YOU. The road ahead doesn't seem so insurmountable at all after reading your experiences on the matter. In Finland, circumcisions are made almost solely for necessary medical purposes, so finding information on the subject in Finnish is closely related to the proverbial haystack.

Even if I find in the following weeks that everything is fine as it is, no action required, this site has given me the peace of mind that I need for recovery. And if I decide to go for restoration through tugging, I promise to keep everyone up to speed. Should I do it on this post's comment field or some other way?

absolutely sincerely,

J, from Tampere, Finland
